I love everything about it. The lights, music, gift giving, gift receiving, the meaning of Christmas, the colors, the decorations, and I can go on and on. I think also one of the many reasons why I like this holiday is the shopping. I love to shop and even better I get to shop for others. One of the OCD things that I do (which I thank my mother for this tendency) is I keep a book about Christmas. It began in 2005 and it is lists of who I have given gifts to and how much I spent, who I give goodie plates to, who I invite for graham cracker night and what gifts I have received. My friends laugh at me when I show them my book. But I like to look at it and see what I have bought people the year before so I don't make it a repeat. I also total up how much I have spent that Christmas as well so I can budget for next year. Well, not exactly budget because I don't really do that. But at least compare from year to year. Call me crazy, but it's what I do. Here is a picture of my book.

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas . . .
Christmas is my favorite holiday.
I love everything about it. The lights, music, gift giving, gift receiving, the meaning of Christmas, the colors, the decorations, and I can go on and on. I think also one of the many reasons why I like this holiday is the shopping. I love to shop and even better I get to shop for others.
