My co-workers are my friends. Well, not all of them, but there is a group of us that just have so much fun together.
We went to L.A. to go visit Vicky, my old roommate and co-worker. Thanks to Dee we have a play by play picture log of what we did right down to buying stuff at the registers. So we stayed at her place with her roommate Harry. The plane ride there was very turbulent which made it quite nerve racking for Jennie who hates flying. But we made it in one piece in OC airport.
When we landed we were starving. So we immediately went to a Vietnamese restaurant for pho and we tried oxtail soup. Yum!!
Then we went to Santa Monica pier and walked around and watched the night life there. Saturday morning we took a little long to start the day, but there are five girls that need to get ready. We went to Venice Beach and I would have to say it is very interesting place with many different types of people. It is a great place for someone who loves to people watch. We also decided to get henna tattoos as well. And lucky for us we were there when the biggest bikini parade was there. So lame.
In the evening Vicky cooked some awesome Puerto Rican food for us. So delicious!! We ended the night going to Hollywood Blvd.
Sunday morning we went to Korean town and went to Long Beach for a bit before heading back to the airport.
It was such a fun trip and we packed in as much as we could. If anyone saw our group they would certainly think we were an interesting group considering there is someone who is Korean, Japanese, Filipino, Puerto Rican and me who barely makes the Japanese category. They are hilarious to be around and I learned so much more about them.
